    Meath Citizens Informaiton Service

    We Offer a free and confidential service to

    any member of the public on any issue.

    We provide a wide range of public information and advocacy on topics suchas separation, taxation, employment, health, family, youth, education, agriculture, social welfare etc.

    We offer a friendly and informal atmosphere, which has proved to be the recipe for success and the public has responded to the service with enthusiasm. Complete confidentiality has been another attractive element for our clients. There is no need to make an appointment, just call in.

    CIC's are financially supported by Comhairle. Comhairle is a national agency with the responsibility to disseminate information on people's rights & entitlements, which they do through the 85 CIC around the Country. Comhairle also manage a database of information, that CIC's uses on a daily basis.

    The Marriage and Relationship Counseling Service (MRSC) is also based in Navan CIC and Ashbourne. Couples, whe ther married or not can receive counseling, regardless of financial circumstances.

    FLAC - Anybody with a legal query can receive free legal advice on the first and third Wednesday of every month (by appointment only).

    Dunboyne CIC, Rehabcare, Dunboyne - Friday Mornings

    In County Meath there is one Key Centre, two local centres and four outreaches. Navan, the key centre has been open for 27 years, Ashbourne has been open 16 years and Trim celebrated its 10th anniversary in May 2003.
