Our club won Best Team in the U9 to U11 age groups in Leinster this year.

In the Boy’s U9, Aaron O’Neill, Mark Joyce,Cian Ryan, Dominic McCabe and James Martin.

Boy’s U10, Tadgh Mc Cann, Daniel Tully, Aaron McNally and Jack Byrne.

Girl’s U 10, Zoe Mohan and Shauna White.

U 11 Girls, Caoimhe Doyle, Nicole McDermott and Sinead Reynolds.

The under 12 to 14 age groups came 6^th.

Derval O’Rourke, elite sprint hurdles athlete, was guest of honour at the club awards ceremony in held in the club house on Thursday the 15^th of October.

Noel Fanning, club chairman, opened the proceeding by welcoming Derval to the podium to present awards to club athletes who won medals at provincial, national and international track and field competitions.

This year, thirty two club athletes were honoured with a club award, many were first time recipients and reflect the outstanding work put in by Coach Coordinator Nicola Leech and her team.

The proceeding was closed by our club chariman by thanking all club members, their famlies and friends for all the hard work they put in making this awards night a success.
