WHAT NAVAN PROBUS IS ABOUT

The purpose of Navan Probus Club is to provide a regular meeting point for retired and semi-retired people, particularly for those who would appreciate and value in their retirement increased social contacts, and the opportunity for meeting others in similar circumstances. Probus is an abbreviation of PROfessional-BUSiness. Membership is not restricted to those two groupings. Probus clubs are non-political and non-sectarian. Navan Probus Club was founded in 1997 and has both male and female members. Currently the membership is thirty five. The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, except July and August, in Columbanus House, Cannon Row, Navan, at 11am.
